Blunt Talks presented a diverse group of speakers who talked about the state of the marijuana industry and offered personal experience, as well as tips on how to thrive in the burgeoning industry, at the Weedmaps Museum of Weed in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Six speakers presented to a room full of cannabis entrepreneurs and others who are passionate about the industry. The roster included wellness advocate Peachie Wimbush-Polk, California’s best known and longest-serving cannabis business attorney Ariel Clark, the CEO of Higher Way Travel April Black, Cannabis Producer for VICELAND’s Bong Appétit Jason Pinsky, marijuana cultivator Kyle Kushman and CEO of Ethos Genetics Colin Gordon.
Themes from the evening included refining your brand and figuring out ways to find out your niche within the industry, staying true to the cannabis culture during this time of commercialization and the importance of mentors in one’s life.
Blunt Talks puts on “Ted Talks” style events held in major cities in California and Colorado. The speakers include innovators and business leaders in the cannabis industry looking to share some wisdom with members of thee cannabis community.
This was Blunt Talks first event at the Weedmaps Museum of Weed, which opened in Hollywood in August and completes its stint on Oct. 27.
